Bring your shovel and pitch in to begin the construction of the new Brewster County Alpine VFD firestation at 208 E. Holland Ave. The groundbreaking will be at 11 a.m. followed by a BBQ lunch at the Alpine American Legion Hall. Admision to the lunch is a donation for the county’s VFDs.
